I am Constance Trufant a proud African American Woman raised by my Mother and Father who I love dearly and the 3rd child of 10 Siblings. My Dad has always been there to support me and is a man of few words but has many words of wisdom to share. We often have life conversations and he always has insightful words about anything and everything current or in the past. My Mom has went home to be with the Lord but her Spirit helps me get through my sad days and happy days. I miss her so much as she was my rock and confidante. I Love being happy and making others happy and pray to God to help me achieve this goal daily. I pray for unity and love and friendship in my immediate and extended family. I always dreamed of having a husband and growing old and holding hands with my husband (realized with our best years in front of us). I also
dreamed of having children and watching them grow up as smart and productive members of society (Realized far more than I could have ever Imagined) and I dreamed about a few grandchildren and maybe even a granddaughter (Well that dream was pleasantly exceeded).
My vision is to continue to grow as a person and live a healthy lifestyle and to continue our philanthropic work in the community. I also want to share our families story in the Tacoma and Seattle Community and beyond through speaking engagements and by writing a children storybook with hopes to inspire youth and there family to dream big.
